We Love to Play!

Here's a cracking little song about the joy and importance of play.

This song featured in "Not Today, Celeste" a show by Liza Stevens all about a dog called Celeste whose owner gets depression - how Celeste finds help to understand what it is and how they can deal with it as a family. The song, book and show are made to help children understand mental health issues that could affect theirs' or their family's lives.

The names Celeste and Henry are mentioned in the song - they are the two dogs who play together!

Playing helps children process emotional, social and mental health issues. You can find out more about Not Today Celeste and resources for primary schools by following this link.

We'd like to give you this song for free, playing is so important - please sing and play and enjoy! Ideal for assembly, before/after playtime or for any topics about PSHE subjects such as mental wellbeing.

I teach singing and ukulele in schools where I try out all the songs in the club so you know they will go down a storm with your kids!"
